I spent a few days down in the heat of central Texas. The locals were calling it cold, but it was T-shirt weather for any ice climber. I could have trained in a gym and did a little bit of that, but I really need the specific movements of ice climbing, and a lot of ‘em. The video below shows the depths I had to sink to. Combined with a ring workout it was pretty good training.

Where at in Texas Mr. Gadd? You do have a few blog followers down here : ) FYI – I got a little ice in today. 5 hours of ice on the back for a strained muscle. The chiropractor said 48 so it looks to be a great weekend. CF Baby! 80 Box Jumps.

Hey will! Thanks for going to Texas for turkey day, you and Kim definitely made it more interesting and fun! Plus kicking my ass with the CrossFit program! Which, by the way, I have been doing since then! Kim had told me that it would be worth it when I'm doing handstand pushups at the gym, and that's exactly what happened today! I got a lot of oohs and ahhs. Anyway, nice video. Hope you and the family are doing well!
